ANGUS O’CALLAGHAN FINAL SALE

This is your last chance to purchase a signed Angus O’Callaghan PRINT

Since the passing of Angus O’Callaghan in December 2022, we have had many queries about the availability of his photographic artworks, particularly the unique series of images of and around Melbourne between 1968 – 1971.

With the approval of Angus’s Estate, we are delighted to announce a very limited, and final opportunity to purchase Angus’s works. If you have ever admired Angus’s photography and thought about purchasing one of his iconic prints to adorn your wall or wish to add to your existing collection of Angus’s work now is the time. There will be no further signed prints available after these are sold.

The final sale includes the full inventory of works printed and signed by Angus before his death. These were intended for a retrospective exhibition to celebrate his 100th year. Please note, as these are the last collection of works signed by the artist, there will be no more images printed and custom orders cannot be accepted.

The price structure reflects the limited number of signed prints in Angus’s remaining collection, but in keeping with his ethos of making his photography as accessible as possible, they are reasonably priced and below their true worth. All sales are final as per the instructions of the artist’s Estate.

Please note, as we have a very limited number of prints for sale, in many cases only one or two of any images, it will be a matter of first in and best dressed online.

  • All works can be inspected by appointment in Alphington (Fairfield) in Melbourne, or in Kyneton.

  • Most works are unframed prints, all signed by the artist, all printed using archival pigment print on quality cotton rag paper. All sizes referred to are the image sizes. All prints have a minimum 100mm border around the image, except some of the smaller (400mm x 400mm) have 50mm borders.

  • There are a very limited number of framed works available, as listed. Of those there are two types: Standard farming (quality but no frills), and Premium Framing ( print bonded on archival board with 100mm border around image, spacer, quality slim-line timber frame, with most of the larger works finished with durable laminate instead of glass). If you want more information about the dimensions of particular frames, please contact us.

  • We are unable to offer custom framing for prints purchased, you will need to arrange this yourself. We have however negotiated an exclusive 25% framing discount for our customers with our trusted framers:
PG Printmakers Gallery, 227 Brunswick St, Fitzroy. Ph 9417-7087.
To take advantage of this offer contact PG directly and mention Angus O’Callaghan’s name. You will need to liaise directly with them regarding your exact requirements, cost etc.

  • All purchases can be collected free of charge by arrangement from Alphington (Fairfield) 3078 or Kyneton 3444.

  • Delivery can be arranged at an additional cost. For unframed prints, the cost will be $150 Australia wide, including secure packaging and tracking. Please choose the delivery option at checkout if this is your choice.

Packing and delivery of framed works, or shipping outside Australia attracts a greater cost. Cost will be determined according to packing requirement (for framed works), size, weight and location. Please contact us.

If you choose to have your prints framed by PG Gallery in Fitzroy (see Arranging Your Own Framing tab), please let us know and we can drop them off there for you at no charge.
